Yet another glimpse into our Paris adventure.  We were hunting down lunch when we came across these little shops.  I think we picked up a fresh baguette and hunk of nice cheese this particular afternoon - a delicious meal that we had more then once during our stay.

"Paris Street" - I took another stroll down memory lane with this painting of a street corner in Paris.  We were wandering around looking for the Picaso gallery.  I snapped this photo and didn't think anything of it at the time but as I was sifting through photos I really loved the shapes of the builidings and the quietness of the street.

While traveling on our cross country road trip, we stopped in Monterey Bay for the night.  I woke up at 6am because of the time difference and while Eric slept I took a stroll down to the fisherman's wharf with my piping hot cup of coffee from the cozy little neighborhood cafe next to our hotel.  It was a chilly, gray and damp morning.  The seals were all hanging out on the docks below and pelicans up above just waiting for an opportunity to catch their breakfast.

Each time I pass this intersection I tell myself that I MUST paint this building. Another painting inspired by our daily walks around our little town of Phoenixville, Pa.  This view captured my attention because of the interesting shapes the fire escape creates.

On the last day of our honeymoon stay in Paris, we climbed up to the top of Notre Dame one chilly and overcast Sunday morning.  Lots, and lots of stairs in the tiniest spiral staircase.  It was amazing to see the architecture and disturbing gargoyles, and most of all, the view of the Parisian skyline.

Here is the painting that I just finished of that view of Paris.  This painting will be part of the member show at the Phoenixville Art Center in May.

Bridge Street Walk

We walk by this little walkway in downtown Phoenixville, PA everyday.  It is so easy to pass by it without even a glance.  I loved the way the light and shadows fell this particular morning.
